The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Take a Trippy Hunny Trip through the Hundred Acre Wood!Take a Trippy Hunny Trip through the Hundred Acre Wood!

The character of Winnie the Pooh may have been created by A.A. Milne in the first half of the century, but it is arguably the Disney version that most people are familiar with today. Based on the 1977 film of the same name, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh draws on the various elements from the short cartoons that make up the film.

Boarding a 'Hunny Pot' that can hold up to four people, guests are literally taken into a storybook world. As a giant storybook opens, the carriage travels along a track to a time when the Hundred Acre Wood is having a very blustery day. Look out for flying Piglets! As the pot moves on, Tigger will show you a bouncy time! Before the ride is over, you will encounter a floating Pooh, Heffalumps and Woozles and get to see Pooh wallow in his dream-quantity of honey. This all takes about 3 minutes to run through.

While this isn't quite the trackless marvel that the Tokyo equivalent to this ride is, it offers a replica of the Floridian version of the ride. It is still filled with the Sherman Brothers tunes, the animatronics, funhouse effects and fun of the American versions of the ride. Given how recently this was built, fans were hoping for something similar to the Tokyo version (known as Pooh's Hunny Hunt), which uses a 'trackless' car system and gives riders a random experience each time. However, this is still a fun ride and must-see for anyone that is enamored by the Pooh phenomenon.

It is ideal for little ones, due to the bright colours and songs. Older fans will find it fun too, although it is certainly one of the tamer rides in the park.

When simply riding Pooh is not enough... Pooh Corner: When simply riding Pooh is not enough...

Given that Pooh proves more popular than Mickey Mouse in many parts of the world, it is natural that a Pooh merchandise store can be found nearby. Pooh Corner sells the largest selection of Winnie the Pooh products in Hong Kong Disneyland, and probably the largest selection of Pooh products in Hong Kong! If it's got Pooh on it, chances are you'll find it here.
